It's an oldie but a goodie: Hello World!

I've wanted to put my own personal blog out there for more then a decade and now I've pulled the trigger. Here I'am!

You might be wondering: What is this blog gonna be about?

Hopefully there will be some posts about programming projects I'm working on. Maybe I'll feel inspired to write a review after finishing a book. Who knows? I certainly don't!

I fully intend to put the source code to this mess of a blog on GitLab, so there's gonna be at least another blog post coming soon^tm.

This blog is mainly up so I can have a frontend playground and because I've wanted to learn Eleventy and static website generators in general. I'm a big supporter of static website generators and want to see more websites that are not using some overly bloated CMS to then not have more than a couple updates a year.
